A huge thank you to everyone that took part in the STEM logo design competition. We had around 60 entries across all the year groups. All the designs will be available to view once Mr Nicholson has organised them all.
The results were narrowed down to two finalists and then students voted for their favourite design.
Logo A was created by Janet Hawkins and really shows the different STEM aspects off in a fun way, whilst fitting in with the existing Ryde Academy design.
Logo B designed by Thomas Leal also showed off the creative side of STEM whilst demonstrating aspects of nature, technology and engineering.
After counting and checking the votes the winning logo that will be used in STEM lessons, materials, websites and social networking was Logo A designed by Janet Hawkins. It was a very close result and both designs proved very popular among the pupils.
Well done Janet, you have won this Hydraulic Robotic Arm kit. Please come and collect it from Mr Nicholson.
